rear disc conversion

Hi All,
I and my mate are very interested in the rear brake disc conversion.How do I down load the files or can they be sent to me.I would think the 1/4" plate would be the way to go as the 1/2" plate will increase the rear track by one inch overall which I do not want.I can buy the manufactured ones(1/4" plate) but will need them sent to England.
Next question. Are they worth it. Do they make a huge difference over standard.
