Hello Gearheads.

Have 1227730 from a '92 Camaro with  "S" 8th letter in VIN#  AZTY chip?

Will install Digital Speedo - do need the VSS wires B9, B10 & B11?

Perhaps someone will know, but a Year ,make, and engine or type of ECM would be helpful?

Those are early gm speed density ecu #s
Go to moates.net support for everything that you could ever want on tuning one of these.
Used to use those ecu's a lot back in the day. But I'm sure that a lot has changed since.
Other than having to re-burn a chip every time that you reprogrammed. It was a pretty good way to go.

Moates sells an emulator that allows you to interface your laptop in place of the PROM while you fine tune the fuel and spark maps.  Once you have those set, then burn a PROM.

That's right Joe.
The problem is that if you want to make a change after you've burned your program.
Then you have to burn another new chip.
It's not costly but it is a bit of a PITA.
The nice part is that you get all the features of a factory fuel injection. And it's tune-able to whatever powertrain that you have.
The other advantage to shops like mine. Is that the customer isn't likely to try to "personalize" the tune after you deliver the car.
