how to fabricate custom silicone hoses

My friend needs a custom hose for his hot-rodded Ducati. He could pay to have one made. We'd prefer to learn how to make one ourselves. Do you guys have any knowledge of silicone hose fabrication? Tips? Tricks? Advice about procuring the materials?

(I'm thinking that someone somewhere must surely sell the unvulcanized fabric-reinforced silicone sheet, ready to be wrapped into tube shape.)

Can't imagine how these guys make a profit making hoses this way. Definitely not a DIY project
