Remembering Joe Cocker

IMHO, Great distinctive sound, and "cover" artist. I feel the duets that are sorely missed/ never happened, would be Joe and Janis Joplin, perhaps the king and queen of raspy vocals ?  What music they could have made... Computer re-mastered ?  Sing-on Joe and Janis...

I put "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" on my old turntable and cranked the volume up real loud.

Sure would have loved to see him perform live.  What a voice!  

I wonder what kind of car he drove.

Whenever I wear my Mad Dogs and Englishmen T shirt from the car show, non lbc crowd still enjoys it .

I was lucky enough to see Joe Cocker live (on the same bill with Fleetwood Mac) at the Boston Tea Party in November, 1969.  It was a relatively small venue and Cocker's voice filled the room.  He was quite the showman.

Saw Joe in concert four times in different venues....... he was simply unique!! RIP Joe!  The music world will miss you..............
