Are all the Buick 215 V8 crankshafts drilled for pilot bushings?

Currently have a 63 215 Buick hooked to the Buick 2 speed automatic. I am buying a 63 215 that is mated to a Muncie four speed.
To hook up the manual transmission to the current auto trans/engine combination will the auto 215 crank need to be drilled out for a pilot bushing or do they come pre-drilled for a bushing?

Mine did not need drilling. It is a '63 215, as well. I still have the 2 speed auto if you want it. :)

Mine is pre-drilled as well, I believe that all 215 cranks come drilled for a pilot bushing.

Carl, I'm supprised that you still have that trans laying around! Mine went to the scrap yard inside the trunk of the beater Buick Special 32 years ago. I told the guy at the wrecking yard that I was even throwing in the trany!LOL

Me too. I hated to just toss it. It only has about 70K miles on it. I was hoping some Buick purist would like a freebie. I guess not.

Cute and worthless, quite a combo/lol.  Still, much better than the Olds "Roto Hydro 240"(torque rating) ? I removed same and installed a Vega Turbo350, in my 61' Cutlass. It felt like I added another 50 hp., under the hood. Cheers, roverman.
