split needle/roller bearings

I need 1" id., .7"-1.12" width , and up , no inner race, machined outer race, up to 1.75" max od. Evinrude uses split needle bearings, but I can't find adimensional chart. They will ride directly on the cams.  Thanks, roverman.

Actually, Evinrude uses forged, heat treated rods with the big end i.d. ground and then fractured to remove the cap. Some have caged bearings, and some have a full complement of rollers. Some of the smaller engines could have rod journals in the 1" range, but you would have to make the outer races. I would think Torrington Bearings would have some openend cartridge bearings that would work.

No problem Art,
SKF part # B1612  1.000" id  1.1250" od 0.750" width.
SKF part # JL1612 1.000" id  1.2500" od 0.750" width.
SKF part # B1616  1.000" id  1.2500'' od 1.000" width
SKF part # JL1616 1.000" id  1.2500" od 1.000" width

All are drawn cup type bearings. B series are captured needles(no cage) JL are caged bearings.

Pretty common sizing, should be easy to round some up.

Nope.
You aren't going to find a bearing like that with a split cup.
Sorry.
You could buy extras and have the cups lazer cut I suppose.
You would need two bearings for each completed split shell.
Offset cut to accommodate the missing material from the cut.

I "may" just wing-it. Buy 1 piece bearing, with powdered metal outer race, no inner race, grind a fracture notch, on side of race, "cryo",and fracture. Cage will likey distort/break, but what-if ??  roverman.

I need liquid nitrogen, to "cryo" the bearings. Cameron Welding supply wants $482. to sell me a 5L. approved container, or they woun't sell me LN. I only need like 1L. ?  Suggestions ?  Thanks, roverman.

The engine manufacturers fracture at room temperature. Don't overthink it.
