T-5 Lubrication

I don't know how true this is, but I was told a wc T-5 has an internal oil pump.  If so, can the car be towed in neutral without damaging the gears or bearings?

No, it doesn't have an internal pump. I've flat-towed mine (600 miles roundtrip when the rollcage installed) without noticeable effect.

FWIW, I "think" the TR7/8, 5 speed, has a pump ?  roverman.

Yes, the Rover LT-77 has a fluid pump not the T-5. Which is one of the reasons I chose a T-5.

I choose my T-5 because a friend had a brand new, never installed 89 SVO for $600, obviously he doesn't have it any more and I have a big smile on my face.  He was advised not to, but bought it to put in a T-Bucket anyway which was obviously a bad idea.  I asked that pump question because I don't have a trailer or any place to store one and have to use a tow bar.

Both LT-77 and the later R380 have internal pumps.
