According to GSJohnny they recently hit 10,000 rpm on one dragstrip run with their Buick 350 race engine. This engine is modified of course, runs Hersche forged rods and other high quality internals and they regularly spin it north of 7500 rpm. Not sure if it has a girdle and forged or billet crank but I expect it does. Still, even so that's pretty impressive for an engine with a 3.850" stroke.

Jim, I   don't see anything about it, in the Buick V8 forum ?  roverman.

Sounds  like a 2 stage rev. limiter, to be a good idea.  roverman.
