Under the "what if" category.Instead if I beams, they would be tubing, dropped center design.Each would pivot, near centerline of the chassis. This might allow very short torsion bars, at their pivots, perhaps anchored into the engine crossmember. Fore/aft movement would be controlled by radius rods, that could have a transverse attached torsion bar, for anti-sway,(roll).If one needed de-camber curve, the spindles could be mounted on ball joints, with an upper A arm, for camber/caster curve potential, OR eccentrc pivot, king pins,(steering input provides de-camber). The extra long, lower control arms would provide  minimal roll center migration, while looking nostalgic.  Cheers, roverman.
