Had her all set up for the parts replacement last weekend....

Replaced the points with the Pertronix as suggested... Dayum!!!!! She's a hoss!!! Now i wish i had started on the wheels and brakes first!
 She runs absolutely beautifully!  Illbget some video this weekend and post it.

not bad for hipo exhaust manifolds without any exhaust!

The whining noise you hear is the timing "gear" set. We'll see how well they hold up...

I've since painted the engine bay, working on the firewall, and will be replacing the brake lines here soon.

know where i can get a 5 way union for the brake line system?

Is your brake master a single circuit?  If so you may want to consider swapping for a dual circuit master.  That way if a line gets compromised you likely have enough braking left to get you stopped.  Side benefit is you only need a couple of T's then too and they're easy to find.
