Using beehive springs ?

Not 215" oem., but aftermarket like Comp Cams ? Mine lean-over like Italian ,Tower of Pizza. .120"- offset at top and .09" at 3rd coil from bottom. These are new,never installed.  For $268., I expected better !  Anybody ? Onward, roverman.

So you're saying the beehives appear to be useless?  And they're direct from Comp?

I have just received authorization to return them, but concentricity/centerline angularity, is "secret". I have no expectations, for this to go well. .120"side load, on the stem and guide,with a  400 lb/in spring, is NOT in my spec.  Onward, roverman.

I'm Gobsmacked (pretty cool word huh)
I used the comp the beehives when they first came out.
It was on a 52 Bentley 6. They were installed upside down and worked perfectly.
Have since used them on Honda's Datsun's  Audi's Porsches, VW's and Maseratti V6's but oddly enough never on their intended motor.
Have never had a concentricity problem.
My ego says I hope I wasn't just lucky.

Fred de Guru, I suspect you checked all of these springs, and they had no angularity,(beehive in a forrest fire), problems ? At 400lbs/inch, mine will pull on the valve, like a winch,(shameless pun). If you "like" these, I will /lean the price for you. Onward, roverman.
