This car appeared on BAT where those who left comments cruelly trashed the seller for his poor grammar, implying that this somehow impugned that the car was equally bad.

Well, the car is bad, as in baddass and it is a British car with a V-8!  Okay, it's not exactly what I'm looking for (and I suspect that very few here are into such outrageous, poor handling street rods w/ powerglide trannies).  But I consider it an interesting build and it could be a cool toy for someone into the power-cruise thing.  I especially think it cute that they used an Austin AMERICA as the basis.

Anyway, fun stuff - even if it is not your cup of tea.

I can write a lot better than that, but wouldn't be able to build that car.  Folks just have different talents.  Probably not much of a canyon carver, but would be big fun in the stoplight drags.

It's a really cool car!

I can't think of anything nice to say about the people who comment on BAT... However, I don't understand why someone would post a British V8 for sale anywhere without submitting a How It Was Done here first.
1971 MGB GT V8
Buick 215 w/ Rover heads, custom EFI & crank-fired ignition.
Custom front and rear coilover suspensions.

Looks like a serious ride.

I'd like to see more construction detail on the car, did he put a frame in it and how does he get the power down? Looks to be nicely done and should go like stink with an LT1 in there.

I emailed the seller, asking about the car and suggesting that he click on this thread, but so far no response...
