Hi Curtis
I wonder what a lightweight Turner Sports Car in spaceframed race trim would be like with a V8 stuck in it.
The V8 would have to be a very light version and pretty compact.I have in my barn an alloy Porsche 4.7cc V8 which is out of a 928S,chucks out in standard form about 320bhp.
What do you think lads or is there another V8 lump that would be better.
Theres plenty of room but the gearbox would have to be a manual type with a small bellhousing as that area is pretty restricted.

This is the one V8 Turner I'm aware of, and I don't know much about it:

Turner's are such wonderful little cars.
1971 MGB GT V8
Buick 215 w/ Rover heads, custom EFI & crank-fired ignition.
Custom front and rear coilover suspensions.

Peter, You have such a car and are, indeed considering such a swap ? RV8 is approx 270 lbs,, w/o. accessories. A smaller transaxle should help any bell housing issues. Alpha Romeo has one with clutch at the T.A.,(search the archives). Good Luck, roverman.
