Hey guys, just wondering what is the aproximate temperature of the air  coming from the turbo to the intercooler and what is it aprox coming from the intercooler to the throttle body? Thanks Tim

"I'm sorry. My responses are limited. You must ask the right questions".

That's an impossible question to answer Tim, without a lot more information.
Engine tune, turbo sizing, intercooler size and configuration, airflow, ambient temp, altitude, pipe sizes and lengths, etc. etc. etc.
all affect the temperatures in the system. The ultimate goal for the most power output is the lowest temp possible at the intake valve.
Regardless of the rest of the system.
That however doesn't necessarily make for a very drive-able engine.
What is your question leading to?

Cheers

Hello Fred. Yikes! I thought that was a simple Question.I'm putting a Ford 2.3 Turbo motor in a TR3 and I'm going to use an intercoolr of unknown origin but right sizebehind the rad.The bolt on inlet and outlet pipes are missing of course so I was thinking of metal gluing pipes in their place and was wondering about the affect of temperature upon the glue.I could get the pipes welded on  but I thinking it would be a learning experience to try the metal glue route.Maybe its crazy to do but dont know until you go there Any advice?
