@ Russ,

Yes that's them. I saw they had moved, and built a new shop in the garden. Give them my regards next time you see them.

Love that Sceptre, Fizzle Fry (doing the Minx S2000 conversion) really needs to take a look at that car. Everything about it is right.

Hi James,

Sorry the pics have gone, i will try and reload them on photobucket and link them accross.

I have quite a few pics of Olly's Humber Sceptre. He blew the engine up a few months ago so has now changed it to a 2.0 Ford zetec and running it on throttle bodies.

Cheers.

Russ.

Not a Humber but a Rootes Group product that has definitely been hot rodded and is for sale on fleabay.

This rather tasty '53 Hillman has a 350 Chevy and a 4 speed lurking beneath that stock-looking body.

New here and new to European cars, always owned and restored mopars. But I'm inheriting a really cool car, a Humber Super Snipe. I love the look of this car and I've only seen it twice but should be bringing it to the house soon. I'm in Sacramento and I THINK it might be the car that was posted further up the page. Basically I'm curious about the inline six and if you can Berge them up to kick out some horsepower or if a V8 swap to a Chrysler V8 is the way to go? Also wider tires?
