Ford's Better Idea: Rally Sport!

Today's addition to BritishRacecar.com is a Ford Escort RS1600... a model which certainly rates among the top half dozen to ever compete in international rally racing!  This particular example was raced in New Zealand's "Heatway" rally in 1973. After a long rally career, it was restored and then set-up for road racing in Canada (e.g. with different camshafts, tighter suspension, and totally different tires.) I think you'll agree, it's a particularly interesting specimen! Here's the link:
