name that timing cover

I was digging around the basement looking for an oil pump cover and found five different style timing covers. See if you can identify all five.

Top one looks like a Buick 215 cover with a Melling high volume oil pump kit and a swivel oil filter adapter base.
Bottom one, maybe some type of late version of a Rover cover. Note the cam sensor hole.
Second one down Olds 215??
Not sure about the other two!

You got the first one and the last one right. The last one is the famous intermediate Rover cover from a 97 4.0. It still has the distributor boss and hole, but they are not drilled out. I believe the top one has the oil pump and swivel from a 4.1 Cadillac engine that was used 80 to 82 ish. I only say that because it says METRIC on it and it looks how I remember them being, but you may be right about it being from Melling. It does have the high volume pump and spacer. Second one down is not an Olds 215 cover. A hint for that one is to look at where the cast in timing mark is located.

Correct. Any guesses on three and four? Hint GM crank seals press on the inside of the cover. Rovers on the outside. Found three of the 300 covers. Anybody need one?

I'm pretty sure number 4 is from a Buick V6 (but it's not the Grand National version, which used an external oil pump).

Correct. Pretty sure it came off of the 4.1 Caddy version, but it's been so long, it could be from any old V6. Surprised nobody has figured out the easiest one yet. My screen name should have given that one away. It has the part number stamped right in the middle.

Also known as the SD1 cover used on the TR8. It has become a highly coveted piece in recent years. TR8 owners are reluctant to switch to a different cover as it means making up some custom brackets. Lately TR8 owners have all become a bolt on performance catalog type of group. Boring!!!! Isn't the fun in the fabrication.
