Does anyone know if an MGC auto will bolt up to a Rover block?

It won't.
1971 MGB GT V8
Buick 215 w/ Rover heads, custom EFI & crank-fired ignition.
Custom front and rear coilover suspensions.

The MGC auto and even the 4 speeds are adapted for the MGC/Austin Healey 3000 six cylinders with a cast bellhousing. I know you can use the MGB 4 speeds on the rover but cutting the starter ear off to make it work is a joke!
