sold my coupe, not going to use this. i think its a 1988, had 8x,000 miles. i pulled off the efi stuff, bolted on a brand new offy 2x4 intake and 2 new reman delco small base 2g carbs, new t&d bellhousing and flywheel.  i bolted on these parts and test ran the engine, i didnt get to hear it run when i bought it so i had to satisfy my curiosity. complete engine.  $1350.00 or b/o in central jersey.  not sure if these are used in the mg world, but great for old hotrods and pickups with the foward mounted shifter, s10 t5 trans, $250.00.

i cant believe i listed this as a 2x4 intake??? i must have been half asleep. its an offy 2x2 setup with 2 rochester small base carbs. make offer in interested id rather sell the engine complete as it runs.
