"fuelish" or not / got "Butanol" ?

I believe, some of our clan, are "users" of E85 ? How bout "Butanol" ? I'm seriously considering as alternative to E85, for race use. You can't buy E85 in "Gustappo Land"-CA., unless you have your "stickered" Flex-Fuel vehicle right there! Reportedly, butanol is the highest refinement of the "ol's", is low corrosive, is approx. 11/1+ stoich and "maybe" I can buy it ? Anybody? Thanks, roverman.

British Petoleum was looking at using that in Britain and Europe as a gas additive.

Thanks Jim. Reportedly "BP" and Standard Oil, have invested heavy in this technology.Being non corrosive and very close to gas in BTU's, they can use their existing distribution lines. I just need a "little" ? roverman-not an "alky"-yet.
