I started with a 1973 TR I purchased off E-Bay. The car was originally from Arizona. The (3rd) owner I bought it from lived in San Francisco. Very little rust.

I am using an engine I bought from a company called "The Engine Factory." They are in N.J. and have a good website and free shipping. Its a carb version and ready to run. I decided to use a C-4 auto with a B&M cable ratchet shifter which enabled me to position the engine as far back as I wished. I ordered the engine with a reversed oil pan and I did not have to do any cutting of the front cross member. The mechanical fuel pump clears the frame ok but I had to use a remote oil filter kit. I am using an aluminum Griffin radiator from Summit racing with a Flex-a-lite black magic electrical fan. Every thing fits under the stock hood with about an inch to spare.

I will be using a Painless 12 circuit wiring kit with Ford masterpiece gauges. I purchased new TR-4 leafs and made my own hangers. The ride height was not correct so I used a pair of air shocks which solved the problem. I hope to tow the car into a body shop in the near future and have it painted I think chrome yellow.

I will send you more pics when finished, should be completed by January. Please feel free to contact me, and thank you for a great website, I would not have tried this project without it.
