Engine: General Motors Ls1 all aluminum V8 from a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. Upgraded oil pump. Upgraded timing set. Lingenfelter GT 2-3 camshaft. Stock Ls1 cylinder heads. Stock Ls6 intake manifold. Ported throttle body. Summit Racing fuel rails. Stock Ls1 wiring harness. Ls2 ignition coils. Summit Racing underdrive crankshaft pulley.
Exhaust: custom stainless steel headers. Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers. Dynomax mufflers.
Cooling: Griffin Scirocco-style aluminum radiator. Twin electric fans, pushing. Meziere electric water pump.
Transmission: Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission from a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. MGW short throw shifter. (Hurst knob.) Tilton clutch master cylinder. Ls7 clutch. Ram aluminum flywheel. Custom driveshaft.
Rear End: Moser Engineering M9 rear axle. 3.70:1 gears. Detroit TruTrac limited slip differential.
Front Susp.: custom fabricated A-arms. Wilwood Pro Spindles. QA1 Promastar single adjustable coilover shock absorbers. Addco 1" anti-sway bar. Narrowed Triumph steering rack, modified to accept screw-in tie rods. Custom steering linkage. (Two Flaming River steering universal joints with a piece of double-D steering shaft between.)
Rear Susp.: custom triangulated four link. QA1 Promastar single adjustable coilover shock absorbers.
Brakes: Tilton pedal assembly. Wilwood master cylinder. Wilwood proportioning valve. Summit Racing line lock. Disc brakes, front and rear, with Wilwood Dynalite calipers.
Wheels/Tires: Enkei GTC 01 17" wheels. Nitto NT555 tires (205/40-17 front, 275/40-17 rear.)
Body: de-bumpered. De-seamed. Vent panels and fuel door holes filled. Custom black wire mesh grille. Ford "Grabber Blue" basecoat/clearcoat paint, applied by Roger Ferris of Showcar Specialist in St. Louis. Original badges removed; likenesses of them appear in silver, under the clear coat.
Interior: custom carbonfiber dashboad insert. AutoMeter Ultralite instruments. Grant GT 12" steering wheel. Original Triumph seats, reupholstered with light blue accent stitching. Five point safety harnesses. Custom chromoly 6-point rollcage.
Electrical: JW Speaker LED headlamps. Braille battery. Powermaster mini alternator. All new chassis wiring harness.
Fuel System: RCI 15-gallon aluminum tank, with custom baffles and sump added. Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, in-tank.
Completed: September 2013. Driven 300 miles since completion.
