How It Was Done

Engine: 1993 Ford 5.0 V8. Ford GT-40P cylinder heads. Trick Flow Stage I camshaft. Roller rockers. Edelbrock RPM Performer intake manifold. Holley 650cfm carburetor. MSD 8582 distributer. MSD 6AL spark box.
Cooling: Mark 7 custom made aluminum radiator. Spal electric fan.
Exhaust: Patriot tight tuck headers. Patriot side pipes.
Transmission: Ford-spec Borg-Warner T5 5-speed manual gearbox (1st-3.97:1; 2nd-2.34:1; 3rd-1.48:1; 4th-1:1; 5th-0.79:1.) B&M shifter. Ram Clutch. Hydraulic throwout bearing. Speedway master cylinder. Adjustable proportioning valve. Shortened stock Mustang driveshaft.
Rear End: narrowed 8.8 1988 Ford TurboCoupe rear end. 3:55:1 ring and pinion. Stock limited slip differential.
Front Suspension: modified QA1 Mustang II coilover shock absorbers. Altered camber settings for radial tires.
Rear Suspension: owner built adjustable 3-link. Adjustable coilover shock absorbers.
Brakes: (master) power booster. Proportioning valve on rear circuit.
(front) stock front discs.
(rear) TurboCoupe rear discs.
Wheels/Tires: Cobra R 17x9 4-lug aluminum wheels. Kuhmo tires (front Kuhmo_225/45-17 and rear 245/45-17).
Frame Mods: frame reinforced with round tubing, modified for 3-link rear suspension, and notched for side pipe clearance.
Body: hole in Bonnet for a shaker-style hood scoop. Door handles, locks, and side marker lamps shaved. 1965 Ford Mustang tail-lights. 427 Cobra bumperettes, turned 90 degrees. Custom grille. Dual hoop roll bar.
Weight: 2400 lbs.
Electrical: New Vintage USA (NVU) instruments. Optima trunk mounted battery.
