Seems like a nice conversion to me although some of the commenters don't seem so impressed:  http://bringatrailer.com/2015/10/19/302-swap-1963-triumph-tr4/

Awesome car.  I've come to ignore the BAT commenters.  Don't even read them.  99.9% haven't a clue.  I'm even losing interest in BAT itself.  As they focus more on thier own auctions instead of highlighting a few cool cars a day, the daily mail is starting to feel more like a classic car sale ad than the BAT we were used to.

Bring A Truck (Full of cash!)
Have not seen anything reasonably priced on BAT in years.
It's become another venue for overvalued speculation.

The sort of cars I'm interested in just don't meet their snooty standards anymore.
My GT6+ was on CL for a couple of months before I bought it.
Non-runners no longer make the cut, too bad.

Excellent to achieve that conversion and retain the standard look.
But If it still has the factory rear end, it will only remain awesome so long as no one uses that '400hp'.

I remember a few years back a Powder blue TR4 I wish I'd bought, had a 305+700R4 and a surrey top. Don't often see conversions of these earlier cars.

Yes, the change in BaT is sad. It's the capitalist way.

The BaT car was actually featured here with a surrey top:  http://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/ArtHart.htm

Didn't sell. Going around again on eBay.

$32,000 seems a lot of money, but measured against the time and effort that went into it, not a lot really.

Yes, some of the BaT posters just don't get it. Well, I don't get modern cars with all their bulbous bodies and electronic c**p.
