Oh man! Someone should have said something earlier. I'm already trying to shuffle things so I can be in <a href="http://www.scca.org/contentpage.aspx?content=57">Lincoln Nebraska on August 31</a>, <a href="http://www.mgvr.org/">Lime Rock CT on September 2-5</a> and <a href="http://www.theglen.com/Tickets-Events/Events/2011/US-Vintage-Grand-Prix.aspx">Watkins Glen NY on September 8-11</a>.

Curtis, if you're going to be in Lincoln on Aug 31st I'd love to say hi. I was talking to John Ulrich recently and he mentioned that his gt v8 was parked next to yours  at the show in Colorado a couple years ago and he enjoyed visiting with you. If he's in town he'd probably also like to say hi. I've always wondered if I could get him to do a HIWD for the site!

Are you coming for the SCCA Solo nationals? I've always wanted to check it out but haven't to this point. My father in law is the EZ GO dealer in Lincoln and rents a lot of golf carts for the event!

My travel plans have been curtailed... just Watkins Glen this time.  Perhaps next year.

Nashville would be a fun one.

I love John's V8.  It would indeed be a great addition to the gallery.  I think I had a full set of photos of it from that meet, but no How It Was Done notes. That was a couple hard drives ago, and now I can't seem to find the photos.  (Thankfully, my PC days are behind me but the downside is that I apparently lost data when I switched to Mac.)

Some VERY interesting cars will be at the Solo Nationals!

We saw quite few Sunbeams last weekend while attending the Townsend GT.  Apparently, they had a meet in the area, as well.
