Hi,Just a few lines to introduce myself..I've a bit of a chequred history of car ownership,from mini's ,vw golf gti's (rabbits?) renaults,to morris,lancias etc etc some good,most bad !! Have just aquired a spitfire (the triumph one, not the iconic ww2 one! )  Its an unfinished project in primer with lots and lots of work still to do. Thing is, i really want a v8 in it.Due to the relative shortage of v8s in the uk and a tight budget, im thinking jaguar ajv8 engine .As its fairly modern,good power output and more importantly donor vehicles are readily availible.
 One major problem is the engine was never sold with a manual gearbox,Any advice regarding possible manual gearbox options would be be gratefully received.(heres hoping!!)  Andy..
