This restorable 1973 ($0 asking price) came to us in a barn find in 2006. My father and I worked on it off and on until 2019, when I gave it a cousin to finish. He's moving so we need to find a new home. It's been in a garage in Terra Alta, WV since 2006. There is no muffler or fuel tank, and a new Weber Carb. In 2019, the engine started and ran until fuel ran out of Carb. It rolls in neutral but not in gear. Minimal body damage (small dent behind driver door), with most chrome and some light fixtures. New owner needs to arrange transportation. I can answer other questions. We can trade cell numbers, etc.

Looks like a good prospect, how's the rust situation?

Jim - there are spots on the surface where paint has peeled off and surface is rusting - nothing all the way thru. If you want, I can take a look underneath to look at floorpans, etc. Anything specific I should look at?

Don, Thank you and I couldn't say if I'd be interested but anyone who is would like to know if it has rust in the usual places and if so how much. I also have one that maybe I should be moving along and I'm not sure it would be wise of me to bring in another. The temptation is always there of course.

But I suspect the wiser course is to help you with your listing and see it go to a good home. To that end, any potential buyer will want to know what the sills look like, the doglegs, the floors etc. It there is no rust through in those places it looks like a decent candidate for a fixer-upper and one of the better years in terms of the interior.
