At a mere £25,500 - yes it's in the UK - here's a very presentable P6 with its original leather interior, and a 4.8 Rover bi-turbo.

A one-off, as the seller says, no one is likely to build such a thing again.

Just to record the basic engine spec before it vanishes:

Cross bolted 4.6 block with an off ground crank 5L BMW pistons and rods
Typhoon camshaft, true roller chain and sprocket set.
Chevy high rev lifters, up rated adjustable pushrods
Cometic multi layer steel decompression head gaskets, 38cc combustion chambers, re-seated large valves, halo spark plugs
New valve springs, steel rocker gear, ported intake and exhaust and port matched intake manifold.
Demon blow through carburettor
Aeroquip stainless steel braided ptfe fuel lines, large Holley fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator.
Digital MS6 ignition with rev limiter, Mallory solid state vacuumless distributor.
Blowing at 8psi.

Sounds like, did not sell ? I wonder about trans and a limited slip ?   Art.

Mmm, did it say so or was I assuming... it's all vanished.
Hard to imagine a V8 with one turbo.
Now you're going to show us examples....

Well, yes there was an example from GM.  Predated the Corvair Spyder by 6 mo. +/-. That would be the Olds JetFire !
   First , production car application, for Air Research.  Small turbine, single turbo with water cooled housing. Waste gated with water/alcohol injection. 10.25/1 compression. Optional BW 4 spd. stick was 2 SECONDS faster in quarter than std. automactic.
