This was on BaT, I missed it.
Still, a interesting write-up.
I like the stock look, even the wheels although they are 14" rear and 13" front, and it went down well with the commentators which is more than one can say about a lot of modded cars.

The seller didn't do the V8 transplant, but commented that he put in 650 hours on its refurb over eleven years. He added some nice period touches including combining two original Lucas looms to keep the correct wiring colours.
After all this work, he drove it around 100 miles.
And then sold it. Hmmm.

Anyway, it made $16k despite what I assume is layshaft bearing noise.
