I just joined this group in the hopes of getting some good advice on installing a Rover 215 (3.5L) engine in my 1980 Spitfire. From all that i can tell, this is the most appealing conversion. If there is a kit or step by step process, i can use the help.

Scott, I don't think you'll find a kit for this conversion but there are a few out there.  There's a couple in the Photo Galleries Section of this website.
