I did. Almost forgot what it was like. Raining so hard I intentionally tucked in behind a semi so I had a blocker.Wipers on high and doing zip, defrost doing zip, wiping the water off the inside with a towel. Windows cracked and the rear window 3/4 zipped open for airflow, water dripping everywhere, good thing I was wearing shorts and sandals. What a ride! And the crazy thing is I loved every minute of it. What's that all about?

I tucked in behind a semi in the rain many years ago. It water sandblasted the front of the MG. My MGs are not afraid of the rain but not behind semis anymore.

I stayed one or two or more semi lengths back. Just enough to where I could still see his tail lights but enough to stay out of the spray. I figured with that big rig up there clearing the road ahead of me it was pretty safe for to follow along behind. For awhile there I couldn't even see what was beside me.

Just logged on a minute ago and the first thing I saw was your post.I wrote a song called "let's go and play in the rain" a few years ago and we are making plans to record it and two others just for the record so to speak. Would you like a copy went it's done ?

Perk and I were playing in the rain yesterday after a run to Loudan, TN for ice cream at the Tic-Toc Ice Cream Shop. We saw heavy rain coming, top down. Told Perk need to put the top up, stopped put the top up fastened everything down, I got soaked, got in the car pulled back on the road, it quit raining. No rain the rest of the way home. Now that I remember I was the one playing in the rain, Perk sat in the dry car.

You can have it.   I much prefer to play on DRY roads.

Ah, where's your sense of adventure? It's a whole new world out there in the wet. As long as you are ready for it, it's even more fun. You can do things you will NEVER do on dry pavement, and it's a great time to test out your brake balance.

I drove the Roadmaster in drizzle on Saturday coming home from the Cars & Coffee.

Not enough wet to count as rain.

You'd like wet roads better if you're tires had a bit more tread.....quit shaving 'em!

As to the recording session Jim ,It will probably take awhile but when it's done I will let you know. Couple of months anyway.

Bought a set of Falken Azenis RT615K+ last year.  Not as good as my shaved Toyo RA-1s in the dry & not a great rain tire, either.  it's the same tire we use on the TR6 race car.
