No, not a tea caddy. But it might as well have been for all the road use it's seen in the last eight years.

Mind you, I dare say it's a bit harder than it seemed at the outset, fitting a 500ci Caddy + TH400 into a mid-size 1960s saloon. Although he does say it was on the road once. Perhaps someone was pushing.

The body looks respectable. I expect a 'period' interior could be reinstated. Then it would be quite suitable for taking Aunty to the shops.

At worst, it's a cheap engine & box.
£3,500.
Come on you dollar-wielding Yanks, here's your chance to do something a bit different.

Unsold at £2,550 (c$3,000).

Oddly enough Rodders are often conservative, They tend to turn up their noses at UK models, preferring the same old same old US steel. Even with the steering wheel on the wrong side. And pickup trucks.
What is it with pickup trucks. Especially in a country where it rains.

Ivor, have you driven an American pickup truck lately? It isn't at all what you expect.

Can imagine a V8 pickup could go pretty well. It's just the thought of toting that duck lake around in the back. OK in Arizona.

I have a V8 Landrover with a hardtop. OK in Gloucestershire  :}
