That first one looks a real pro build, with zero miles?
Unusual breather arrangement.
Ratchet shifter hmmm.
Shame the trunk is full of fuel cell.
A big $$ ask for a car with no top.

The Hemmings car made a good price.
Is there any obligation to keep those Federal overriders nowadays?

Wow! That Frasierdante car seems way overpriced! I would be happy to give them a run anytime...

Don,
I am waiting to hear back from the person in TN. That has a lots of promises, just hope the car lives up to the pictures?
Also I have asked for more pictures.

I agree with Ivor. It has been for sale for over a year that I know of. Owner was not the builder. Still looks great but a lots of $$$$

Don,
I still have not heard back about the green TR6 near Nashville.
My son said the one on Dyler.com looks like the same car (on Facebook) that Harold -heco5375 back on 3-30-20 that was near Nashville. The facebook pictures are not up anymore so I can't say 100% but it sure look like it.

Well that's had time and money poured on it. Looks like a pro build.
I could do without the roll bar, but I think this is the first convertible of any make I've seen on here with what we call a 'breezebreaker', that mesh screen behind the seats that keeps the wind from wrapping around behind you and blowing your hair in your eyes. It really makes driving a lot more comfortable.
To me, that's a very good sign, a sign of a car that was intended to be driven.

Oddly enough, see the Healey forum for a 100-6 I'm about to post.

I do like that LT1 build, especially as I'm building a single turbo one now. Going in a slightly bigger car. That roll bar coming down the center of the car probably burns the crap out of the passengers legs if it sits out in the sun

...TR6 with 327....

Hood scoop neatly done.
And that hardtop looks good. Rather like a Surrey top. Some say the curves of the Surrey don't suit the angular TR6, but I like it.
The exhausts, not so much.
$30k.... hmm.

I am still looking for the right TR6 car.
I did find another 99 percent right car that I was looking for long than than the right TR6. Either blue or white interior would have been  100percent car. Even my wife likes and approved me buying the car.
It is a 1972 Corvette, Bryar Blue with white top and black (hot) leather interior, convertible with match hard top, 350V8, with rebuilt factory air and 4 speed transmission,
Very much like my previous 1972 from days be gone.

Perhaps you should buy a 90%+ car.
You're going to get old looking for perfection.
And no car.

Then you can still look for the 100%.

Do agree though... never could see the attraction of a black interior, unless you're in the business of burying people.

As someone mentioned, the search is part of the fun.
I would settle for a 90% TR6 if I found one that was priced right.

I don't know if my car would interest you or not-  it is a 1969 TR-6 with a Ford  ( 302 ? ) v8 &
auto trans  ( C-3 ).   I bought the car to have a toy while getting my project  touring car under
way..  The car is a  "driver" that has sat too long- the seals in the trans are shot.  I would suggest looking into replacing the C-3 with an AOD because there is only one ratio available for the TR6 .Another option would be a GearVendor overdrive.  I have decided that if I'm ever going to get the Volvo on the road, the TR has to go, so am willing to sell for a reasonably low price.
What has been done since my purchase in 2014 :
  New front calipers
  New Master cylinder
New 1965 Ford Mustang radiator from Summit Racing.
  Extra loud horn.
Car has always been in garage, with top up.  I have never lowered the top, just unzipped the rear window for airflow, so the top has not shrunk or had any abrasion. Top and interior in very good condition, tan color.  Car is a Corvette Yellow from about 2003-4.
