STILL Looking for a turn key car (will consider 85%+) with V8  (preferred) ford or chevy V8. Air would definitely be nice. Auto or manual doesn't matter.
Doesn't have to be show car but very nice driver.
.
PLUS I have very nice driver 74 TR6, that I owned about 20 years, that can be part of deal if needed.

Thanks,
 Gary

ps, thanks to everyone for leads.
Again Thanks to everyone for their leads.

Thanks Frank. I talked to the owner about a week ago. Planning on seeing it this Sunday.

The one in Decatur was way to rough and needing lots of work. Had to pass on it.
So I am still looking for one. What do you have?

87Buick GN

Still Looking but have not found even a close match for what I want.
I have cash and can travel, just need to find the TR6.

Thanks,
Gary

Exotic Classics has one listen in Hemmings that might be a v8.  They want $39K and say it is an automatic.

This will have pretty much V8 performance, if you can go with the colour.
And it's all done, hardtop, softop, get in and drive.

Thanks Bill, I can't find the listing in NH.

Don, I have sent you a PM.

Thanks Don,
I requested  (2 times) more detailed pictures of engine bay and the underside of the car from the seller.
He didn't list or email me any.
He did say that he only owned the TR6 for about 8 months and the speedometer cable wasn't working when he purchased it.
He is about 700+ miles and if it doesn't sell I will probably drive down.

Again a BIG THANKS to everyone for any leads.

This is still for sale.

Yes, it's in the UK, where it's considered a bit too left-field for our conservative tastes. The seller's inability to write good copy is also against him.
And it's a leftie, which of course is what you want but we don't.

The builder is a TR Register member and extensively featured his work on the forum. The car was already a V8 when he bought it, and the quality of his cosmetic rework was generally admired, although not much by the purists.

He's been trying to sell for a good while, so an offer might do it.
A car from the UK might seem a stretch, but as you now know, there aren't that many to choose from, and this is all done and ready to use.

Old school 327 (which is cool by me), auto tranny (not so cool), across the Pond, & $27,000.  Very nice ride, though.

I ran across this today.  Not sure I'll have time, but I will be in Austin this weekend & might be able to go have a look for you if you're interested.
