looking to push 600 trq ideally

but would settle for 400 if i cant find one that wont cost an arm and a leg.

i would like for it to handle like stock or better.

I noticed tr6 had r200 kits. does anyone make one for gt6? any axle upgrade and hub?

R230(9" ring gear) with F150 front CV axles with Dodge Intrepid hubs. Adapted to GT6 mounting points.

This is what I would use with a high HP LS motor. For most others the R200 and for the lower HP four cylinder or V6, the Toyota IFS converted to IRS. I have the individual components but adapting to GT 6 has to be done.  Pics of R200(8" ring gear) vs R230. Pic of F150 front CV axles. Pic of Dodge Intrepid hub. You could also use a IRS 8.8 Ford diff.

wow this looks great. really interested.

I take it the f150 cv fits the intrepid spline? looks like the intrepid has a built in wheel bearing?
does the f150 bolt up to the r230?(is this the armada/300zx tt?)

what year f150 and what year intrepid?

what is the track width using this setup? or will it still need narrowing?

how did you go about adapting it? custom made or can the stock vertical links simply be machine to match the triangular bolt hole?

The R230 I have is out of a 300Z Twin Turbo. 3.69 ratio with Viscous LSD. The 97-2003 F150 front CV axles are fairly short, I'll get back to you on the length. I'm 1500 miles away from the shop. EDIT: Length is approximately 18" from diff flange to hub flange. The 6 bolt pattern on the diff and axles will be different and will require offset redrilling or adapter plate. You  may need a thrust washer in the intrepid hub. Aftermarket ones vary. Same splines as axles, commonly used in Buggies. They are Ford 5 x 4.5" pattern. The adapter flange for diff yoke to 1310 U Joint is Spicer 2-2-1819.

Working on Merkur Scorpio for mine.
Not going to be a simple "Bolt-In" but I'm hoping for minimal mods.
Very similar to IRS T-Bird but a little smaller and lighter.

how well does the 4 link handle?

any pics?

i been considering going solid axle if it will handle as well as factory or better.
main reason is the rim selection for 17" as im planning on a rather wide tires.
