Remote shifter Ford T5

Hi Folks, just removed the 5.0 and T5 from the donor mustang and am now debating whether to convert the tail shaft on the T5 to a S10 forward shift style or whether to use a remote shifter to put the shifter in the right place for my TR4A project.  Anybody done either?

WE just had this conversation a couple of months ago  but the thread has disappeared. Check in the project journals under mark Sawatsky V12 MGB GT Aug 16 2010 He has a excellant solution to the problem . you can put the shifter anywhere you want.

Have not made the commitment yet to swap, but have ordered an early S10 tail housing for trial fit
