Waterpump rotation

Did 3.5 rover conversion and been chasing overheating problem. Had the rad guy's look at it thought it could be the rad is to small.
Turns out the water is flowing the wrong way. I installed a buick 215 pump with ac thinking it would be better than the regular pump.
Any help would be appreciated

The two pumps should flow the same - the difference is that the AC pump has the pump inlet angled down more to clear accessory drive components. Looking from the front, the pump should be turning clockwise.
 How about posting some photos from your setup so that we can see the design. Maybe, for example, your fan blades might be reversed...or the plumbing could be incorrect....photos will help diagnose potential trouble points.

Do you have a serpentine belt setup, by chance?
