Hi Paul,

That is a great idea to have an access hole in the trunk. I will follow your lead on that idea. I was thinking of the same when I was typing this all out. You just confirmed my thoughts.

Here is what I came up with to run the exhaust. The diameter of the pipe is 2 1/2" stainless steel pipe from the header collector to the exhaust tip. I was looking for some ground clearance, so here is what I came up with. I needed to add an X-pipe in there some where, so I put it across instead of front to back. I'm using the space under the seat area for two Spintech mufflers (low profile). Going to the back coming out of the X-pipe will be two 90 degree turns, into the mufflers. Then it will go under the axle then back up closer to the trunk floor into some stainless steel resonators, then to some tips. Haven't looked close enough to see if I can go over the axle. I hope I can run over the axle. I would like to hide the exhaust as much as possible.

C-channeled the frame rail on both sides. Reinforced the rails close to the floor with steel plate to the bolt in transmission mount. Also welded in some square pipe going through the frame rail for gas line, battery cable, and wiring. I will make cover's on both sides of the frame rail on the floor boards to protect the lines and wiring.

That is a 3" aluminum drive line.

The shifter was set pretty far back, so I got a shifter that moved 1" to the left, and 3" forward to put it in the right place.

Had to cut the hole back some, put some access holes for the allen screws, for the top plate. Installed a short shifter on there, should work just like the TR6.

I must have hit reply via PM... Have a look, should be good for a laugh. But, short answer is yes, got it rebuilt and it's working now. Great to have water in the mornings again. Thanks to both you and Brenda for helping me on it!
