Is this all I would need to covert my stock carbs to something modern?

If so, how long of a job is it --- taking into consideration that I'm not an idiot, but still only have a faint idea of what I'm doing.

Most people think it would be better to invest in rebuilt SUs.  I don't believe the Weber set-up will give you any more performance or driveability compared to a good SU set-up.  Check on the MGB Experience group.  There are several members that specialize in re-working the SUs and most feed-back is good.

Cool...
I had mine rebuilt...and they run great.
It's just the old American idea that newer is always better that I have to overcome.

Great advice.  I'll just stick with what I have.
