How much clearance ?

Tire to inner lip on f-glass rear 1/4 panel,(Huffaker on Jensen Healey) ? In 5" of total wheel travel, tire/wheel will arc fore/aft 5/16". How much, compressed rubber bushing,(2) per semi trailing arm x 1.5" od., deflection should I allow for ? I don't want to catch the tire on front, rear or middle of wheel opening on 1/4 panel,"disastorus" ! This is I.R.S., so static negative camber will help tire to clear inner lip at center of wheel opening. Tire is 25.7" dia. and 12.25" overall width. I might not need to "mini tub", but mearly trim/relocate the shock tower, in center of inner wheel well. Onward, roverman.
