TR8 sub frame

Has anyone ever welded up a TR7 subframe to convert it to a TR8 sub frame?

Can't answer your question but we have a TR8 in house with a TR7 subframe and a 1996 Camaro 3.8L 90 degree V6. He went with the TR7 frame because the power steering didnt fit from the TR8 subframe.
