Help regarding tr7 V8 conversion

Hello,
I just Got a Nice tr7 with a V8 conversion that is 90% finish, and i need a bit help to get it back on track.
AS i see it, the waterpump is to long, and for the radiator/fan setup i only have a radiator. No brackets, fans or anything.
Im NOT sure aboute the Electronics, for the enginebay, i Think that Electronics ignition is the Way to go, but which distributor and ignotion should i get.
I will attach some photos, som you Can get an idea of the project.
Engine nummer is 45120450 D
Is that any god for tr7/8??

First off, I'm not really sure what engine you have. Its got the extra head bolts so its a 3.5,3.9,4.2 variant. 9.25CR suggests its a european spec engine. Those valve covers are early style, like pre 1978, so if they are original, thats probably a 3.5. Next onto the water pump. TR8s used a shorter snout lower on the front cover style. That looks like one froma later Rover where the pumps sat higher and the snout of the water pump had a fan mounted. Not really suitable for a TR7V8 conversion, but you could cut off the fan snout and possibly get away with it. The water pump sitting high like that might cause air pockets to form in the pump. Not good. I'd be looking for a SD1 type cover. The radiator in the TR8 does not sit vertically. It angle forward under the nose. Rimmers sells brackets, but they are not cheap. Best bet is to google pics of TR8 engine bays to get the idea. Here are a couple of pics that show basically how the radiator slants away. Granted its not a Rover engined stock TR8, but you can see how the rad slopes forward, and it has the added benefit of a cutaway with the nose panel removed.

You can make your own lower and upper brackets from TR7 pieces. The 7 upper brackets need to be extended, and the 7 lower bracket needs drop down brackets. Here is a pic of lower drop down brackets that space the TR7 lower bracket down. This is for a 19X26" radiator instead of the stock 16X26" radiator, so it spaces it even lower. If you need pics of what actual TR7 brackets look like, I cn snap some pics for you. Got a basement full of TR8 parts and a garage with 7 TR8s in it now.

Engine number matches a P6, but the comp. ratio does not.

I would use a Buick timing cover & a Buick 300 water pump.

Also, in the pics it looks like they didn't setback the motor mounts for the V8, as the engine looks fairly forward in the engine compartment. However, moving it back is a major bit of work as you need to change the engine and transmission mounts and tranny shifter assembly.
