I'd appreciate any thoughts on the photos of my passenger inner fender posted below.
I've recently noticed these ripples that have formed around the exhaust header hole in the passenger side inner fender.
I'm thinking they're a symptom of metal stress. Other than the RV8 exhaust cut outs and a trimmed front tray to fit the larger rad, there are no other major mods to the body shell. I do have a Fast Cars front crossmember fitted.
Has anybody else seen this in their car? Where do I need to add some body strengthening ?

That wrippling looks pretty typical of that area on most of the B's I've ever seen... I think it was a result of however they stamped or formed the piece & MG just left it that way. Are you sure it hasn't been there all along?

Looks like that car used to have a big block Buick engine. :)

Check the photo gallery... Like Rob said, I think the ripples were there all along.
