Title: Kicking off a series of feature articles on RACING!!!
Post by: Moderator on May 13, 2009, 10:43:53 AM
We'll soon be adding a new "Race Car" section to the BritishV8 photo gallery. To kick it off, I've been collecting articles and photos of exceptionally interesting race cars - regardless of engine type - and I think this Healey NOJ 391 replica / vintage racer certainly qualifies!

Check out Bill Healey's Austin Healey 100 Race Car (http://www.britishv8.org/Other/BillThumel-Healey100.htm)  (32 big color photos!)

Wow - that's Roger Menadue himself helping with race prep!

Please invite all your vintage-racing enthusiast friends to check out BritishV8. While you're at it, let them know we're on the lookout for other exciting race cars to feature.

Great looking car.

I have just taken my MG through a fairly intensive rebuild (engine, gearbox/clutch/hydraulics, suspension front and back, custom sway bar with tie-rod ends etc etc etc) to get ready for this years Australian Tarmac Challenge (old Dutton Rally) http://www.duttonrally.com/  the first round is Victoria 29-31st May.

I will send you across some shots and video if there is any interest, this years challenge includes Holden's testing ground, including a circular, banked high-speed track!!

The car is becoming more circuit focused now, so I cant wait to get out and try some of the new mods.....should be fairly insane
