Title: triumph spitfire questions (and hi new member)
Post by: MrT0mJones on April 06, 2009, 11:18:55 AM
So, i'm swapping platforms to what i really want (a british roadster) and i found a clean spitfire.

I'm planning on going with a BMW m50 or m52 with a single turbo on it, with the M differential and such.

but, what other platforms have direct swap for the spitfire? the tr6 the same frame and such, or is the spit on its on for that?
the conversion brackets and such like that as well???

Thanks guys, and i hope to have a good picture/setup thread!

Welcome to the message board!

Make sure to have a good look at this website's photo gallery. Many of your questions will get quicker answers that way. For example, you'll find many photos of frames to compare... The TR6 frame is entirely different (stronger and much stiffer, but also much heavier) than the Spitfire or GT6 frame.
