Title: TR6 Throttle Pedal Options
Post by: SuperMario on December 07, 2025, 02:37:26 AM
I've been MIA for a few years but I'm finally back at it! The transmission tunnel cover is coming along nicely and should be welded in place in the coming weeks. I had to cut back a good chunk of the firewall area by the pedals and the stock throttle pedal will no longer work. What are good pedal and linkage options for this purpose? Pic of the pedal area attached. If you have a picture of your pedal box area it would be appreciated to get some ideas. Thanks in advance!

Sort of depends on if you prefer the stock type of mechanical linkage, many do. A cable is more prone to sticking type issues.

Pardon the filthy carpet - I am in the middle of an engine replacement - on the 4A page - i have attached a picture of my fabri-cobbled gas pedal.
The basin kit came from Summit with a silly spoon handle size pedal.  I simply cut it off and re-used the lower part of the OEM arm and pedal.
Six years tested!
