Title: Rocker arm shaft pedestal bolt torque spec?
Post by: spitfire on October 21, 2025, 04:37:44 PM
Greetings all.
Does anyone know the torque specification on the bolts securing the rocker arm shaft pedestals on the 1963 215 Olds Jetfire turbo engine?

On an Olds 215, unlike the Buick 215, some of the head bolts go into the water jacket.  Use some sort of sealant.

Interestingly, that none of that applies to the Buick 215.
