Hi, I've been talking with Mr. Mike about some seat cover kits for a pair of Fiero seats I have. He recommended some recliner lever "tabs" to make the recliner levers operate more smoothly, as he said they are typically mounted next to the console (inboard), as opposed to the normal (for me at least) location for recliner levers on the outside next to the doors. Can anyone give me some perspective on why you'd reverse the Fiero seats to have the recliner lever in the inboard location (or if the outside location can be used)? And if you mount the lever in the inboard location, are these tabs necessary or useful? Thanks much.
Eric, the shape/fit of the Fiero seats fit the MGB tranny tunnel better if reversed. Lots of info on this installation here and on the MGExperience website.
Thanks Brian, good to know. I appreciate the response.
