Post by: Bobs850 on September 11, 2021, 03:34:24 PM
Looking to replace the original ignition switch .  The car is a 1976 so it has the ignition lock.  It has four wires.  white / red
white / green
white
brown

Looking for a part number on
what I can replace this with.

Thanks

Bob

From the Moss Motors site - 3 options: Wiring, aftermarket switch or Lucas brand switch

Unless you need the key & Cylinder, get the first option  # 263-691

Thanks

My Factory V8 is car number 2720

Must have been towards the end of production

Many of the parts that are on the car do not match up with what should be there

I have owned the car for quite a few years.

Seems that what was left over from other models got thrown in

18G8905 is the switch that matched up

Thanks for the input

Bob

Definitely the first option when you don't need a key
