Glorious, but unrestored, Ashley hard top to suit the MGB. Superb lines and difficult to find. Arguably the best looking hard top for the MGB.
No glass, unfortunately, but would suit a lightweight drape moulded polycarbonate/Lexan window. The roof is double skinned fiberglass with an approximately 20mm cavity between the skins on the roof section. There is some delamination between the meeting point of the two skins around the edges of the window where the glue bond has perished. There are some superficial shrinkage cracks on the original paint, particularly evident at the front top section of the roof and around the pillar sections. The fiberglass is mostly in good condition with a few chips around outside corners and edges. The only major structural defect is a crack at the top of the rear window aperture. This is a short crack in both the upper and lower skin that will require repair. All the trim and fittings apart from boot lid lock and rear bolts are in place and serviceable. The seals are mostly complete but not serviceable.
